The City and Industrial development Corporation of Maharashtra is a city planning organization made by the Government of Maharashtra. CIDCO was formed in 1970 below the Indian Companies Act of 1956. CIDCO aim at the time of its founding was to develop a satellite town to Mumbai, Maharashtra India to ease traffic indication in the city and provide open spaces, playing fields, housing and industrial positions outside the city.
The corporation is insured by a board of directors instituted by the state government. CIDCO was given a management to activity all development as works and keep the cost of development from the sale continues of land and constructed property.
