The Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), Hyderabad, India, established in 1958. It is an institute which does not have any competitor at the national level and its object was to bring about a qualitative change in the standard of English teaching methods in India. To accomplish this aim, the institute devised several programs in the areas of research, growth and training. The attempts paid off remarkably well and soon German, French and Russian were included as foreign language program in the institute. it provided M.A. English with communication studies
