Introduction
DY Patil Stadium is a cricket stadium at DY Patil Vidyanagar campus, Neural, Navi Mumbai, India. The structure has all the services of an national cricket stadium, and has been planned by Hafez organ, one of India’s prime architects. In the realm of activity and healthcare in the state of Maharashtra, one name stands out like a shining beacon, that of Dr. D.Y. Patil. His vision, dedication and passion have been indelibly shaped, by his folly and generosity and have left several standards, India vs. Australia ODI (Nov 11, 2009) was guessed to take place here but was balanced due to heavy rain. In 2010 IPL it will host 4 matches excluding opening, semi-finals and the final match.
