National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was established by the Government of India in 1963

It is offered the Master of Business Administration program it is the management based program.
National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) Mumbai offers two years full time Post Graduate programmes:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDISEM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management (PGDITM)
This three courses are admission is based on CAT exam.

CAT (Common Admission Test) for two-year Post-Graduate Programme in Industrial Safety & Environmental Management (PGDISEM) is held every year and is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
CAT is a multiple choice written exam designed to test a candidate's ability & aptitude under a time constraint.

Admissions to MBA / PGDBM (or Equivalent) programmes shall be made through the All India Entrance Test (s). For the year, admissions shall be through one of the five All India Entrance Tests, namely - CAT (conducted by IIMs), JMET, MAT, ATMA and XAT.

NITIE has chosen to bring into line with CAT. PGDISEM, the management programme of NITIE is an MBA/PGDBM equivalent course; thus admissions to PGDISEM will be through CAT

Eligibility
You should have passed graduation for any discipline with minimum 60% marks for any recognized university.
You should take up the CAT exam. Then apply for this program.

Admission Process:
Admission is based on entranced exam like CAT score. And selection is based on group discussion and personal interview with appropriate weightage to CAT score. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview at NITIE, Mumbai.
