Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani established in 1964,

As you want here I am telling Bits Pilani organized BPL (BITS Premier League) which is modeled after the IPL Cricket Tournament. Team captains auction for player and matches go on throughout the length of the semester. It is a casual tournament and is played with a hard tennis ball. Then there are other equally big tournaments like Inter-hostel league and inter-disciplinary league. There are other light, fun matches which are organized between students and professors on Sundays. Finally there is Box Cricket (slightly quirky version of its parent) played during various festival during the semester. The campus also has an official cricket team that takes part in various sports fest across the country.
