South Asian University has released the notification for the recruitment of Senior Research Fellow post in a DBT funded project entitled “Dissecting Molecular Intricacies Mediating Host-Pathogen Interplay: Identifying The Functional Role Of Cellular Lipids And Lipid Metabolizing Enzymes In Mycobacterial Pathogenesis” at Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, South Asian University, New Delhi.

Post: One for a Senior Research Fellow (SRF).

Fellowship:

Rs. 28,000/- plus HRA for NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified candidate. Rs. 14,000/- plus HRA for non-NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified candidate.

Eligibility Criteria-

Candidates should have Post Graduate Degree in any branch of Biological Sciences with NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Biological Courses with NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Biological Courses.

Candidates should also have at least two years of demonstrable research experience, preferably in research works related to Molecular Biology/Biotechnology. Non-NET/GATE/BET/BINC candidates with at least two years of research experience in desirable qualifications may also apply.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience and proficiency in gene cloning, mutagenesis and protein expression and purification techniques

An additional experience in cell culture techniques and/ or metabolite extraction, identification and characterization will be advantageous.
