Can you provide me the last notification for Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) 2016, so that I can prepare for next KTET 2017 accordingly?

Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) is conducted by the Government of Kerala. One recruited as teachers should possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at all levels of schooling.

It is the examination to assess the eligibility of teacher candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School Classes in Kerala.

Other tests are conducted to select teachers for Category I (Lower Primary classes), Category II (Upper Primary classes) and Category III (High School classes).

The test is divided into 4 categories-Categories I, Category II, Category III & Category IV. It is for:

One who intend to be a teacher for Lower Primary classes and fulfils the minimum educational qualification (Category I)

One who intend to be a teacher for Upper Primary classes and fulfils the minimum qualification (Category II)

One who intend to be a teacher for High School classes and fulfils the minimum qualification (Category III)

One, who intends to be a language teacher up to Upper Primary classes and fulfil the minimum qualification

For Specialist teachers and Physical Education teachers, K-TET is applicable up to High School level (Category IV).

The Exam fee for each category is Rs 500/-

K-TET I - 05/11/2016 - Saturday, 10.00 am - 12.30 pm

K-TET II - 05/11/2016 - Saturday, 2.00 pm - 4.30 pm

K-TET III - 19/11/2016 - Saturday, 10.00 am - 12.30 pm

K-TET IV - 19/11/2016 - Saturday, 2.00 pm - 4.30 pm
