NTPC -Alstom Power Services Pvt., Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2008 compliant organization, formed through the partnership of two leading Companies in the global power sector, namely NTPC Ltd., India and GE Power Systems GmbH.

Services offered-

Engineering :

NGSL (Formerly NASL) provides detailed Design Engineering Expertise in the discipline of Boiler, Turbine, ESP, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation and Civil of Thermal Power Projects due for Energy Efficient Renovation & Modernization.

It effectively executes Engineering work for various Power Projects with proper integration of all disciplines.

Procurement & Sourcing :

Suppliers and sub-contractors are fundamental to NGSL's success. Its commitment concerns the maintenance and improvement of mutual long-term understanding and trust in the enterprises working with and for NGSL.

While providing equal business opportunities, suppliers and sub-contractors are selected according to the principle of open competition.

NGSL is strongly committed to identify and explore new sources of supply in emerging countries.

NGSL has developed a Vendor Management process to evaluate the reliability of vendors (both suppliers and sub-contractors) in terms of their technical, financial and organizational capabilities.

The Vendor Management process includes :

A fair and structured approach to qualification
The monitoring of suppliers' performance

Project Management & Site Services :

Project Management (PM) function at NGSL (Formerly NASL) is headed by Head-Project and the group is entrusted with key responsibilities in the Business processes of NGSL.
