State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification of SBI Clerical Exam for recruitment to the post of Junior Associate (JA) and Junior Agricultural Associates (JAA) in SBI. The bank is likely to release around 20,000 vacancies under SBI Clerk 2017 recruitment. The recruitment process will be conducted in two phases – Preliminary and Mains exam. The preliminary examination of SBI Clerk will be conducted in June 2017 while the mains exam will be held in July 2017. For JAA post Graduation in agriculture or agriculture allied activities. Age limit: Candidates should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years Serial .No Category Upper Age Limit 1 SC / ST 33 years 2 Other backward classes (OBC) 31 years 3 Person with disabilities (General) 38 years 4 Person with disabilities(SC /ST) 43 years 5 Person with disabilities(OBC) 41 years 6 domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir 33 Years 7 Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen Actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to max. age of 50 years 8 Widows, Divorced women( No remarried) GEN- 35 yearsOBC- 38 yearsSC/ST- 40 years SBI Clerk Exam Pattern The preliminary examination will be conducted for 100 marks comprising of three subjects – English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates will have to qualify in each section to clear the prelims exam. The mains exam of SBI Clerk recruitment will carry total 200 marks. The mains exam will comprise of questions from sections General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the objective tests. 1/4 th mark will be deducted for each wrong answers. |
