IMDR a leading Management Institute in Pune was set up in 1974 as a constituent unit of the Deccan Education Society. It assumed control over the MBA program of the MBA Center of the University of Pune and the DBM program, keep running in the BMCC (a sister establishment) since 1968. Partnered to the University of Pune, the IMDR was likewise a perceived community for research prompting Ph.D. In 1977, the IMDR turned into a self-ruling organization by intentionally delinking from the University of Pune. From that point forward it has carried on its exercises, autonomous of the University or other statutory bodies.

In 2010 The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Directorate of Technical Education(DTE)has endorsed IMDR's PGDM program with an admission of 120 understudies. IMDR is resolved to give quality managementeducation to understudies and is guided by the qualities and standards of the DES.

PGDM Program

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two year full time program.

Elective Areas: Marketing, Finance, Systems, Operations, International Trade, Human Resources.

The program is separated into 4 semesters, each of roughly four months. Classes are generally held from 9 am to 5 pm. The initial two semesters are trailed by a two months temporary position in a business association.

Application procedure to PGDM 2017-19 is open.

IMDR has quit the DTE-Common Admission Process from the scholastic year 2015-16. All hopefuls with scores in

Feline/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/MH-CET, should specifically apply to IMDR by documenting up the online application frame on the IMDR site.
