VIT University offers IGNITE Scholarships to deserving candidates at undergraduate level.

VIT IGNITE Scholarship

Under this program top 3 rank holders in each board will win a full scholarship (100% waiver of tution fee) without having to appear for the VITEEE examination

Top 50 in VITEEE will also get a 75% scholarship

Top 51-100 students in VITEEE will get a 50% scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.

The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic.

Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) candidates are eligible for all the programmes offered by VIT University at UG level.

Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatics, Biotechnology & Biomedical Engineering programmes offered by VIT University.

Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in the current year are also eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure

VIT University selects candidates for the award of VIT IGNITE Scholarship on the basis of ranks obtained in higher secondary exam and VITEEE i.e. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination.

The Scholarship program benefits top 202 students across the country.
