Ok, I am providing you the syllabus of National Thermal Power Corporation NTPC Rihand Artisan Trainee Exam NTPC Rihand Artisan Trainee Exam syllabus Part Subject Questions Maximum Marks Part-I Knowledge Test 70 70 Part-II Aptitude Test 50 50 Written exam will be of 2 Hours time duration. Written test will be taken in Hindi & English. In Aptitude section questions will be multiple-choice questions on General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude, English & Reasoning. There will be No Negative Marking in this exam. Please Note there is Separate qualifying Marks for each section. Exam Syllabus:- Aptitude Test Reasoning:- The questions will be asked from the topics such as Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic series, Number Series, Figural series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding and De-coding, Numerical operations, Symbolic operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern-folding and unfolding, Figural Patterns-folding and completion, Embedded figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligencer, Social Intelligence and other sub-topics. Quantitative Aptitude:- The candidate will be tested for general mathematics of up to 10th Standard involving number system, equations in two variables, simple and compound interest, perimeter, area and volume of geometrical figures, Direct and inverse proportions, Pythagoras theorem and trigonometry. English Language:- The questions will be asked from the topics such as Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms and Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement if Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Close Passage and Comprehension Passage. General Awareness: Questions are designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General policy and scientific research. |
