Xavier University is a co-educational Jesuit, Catholic university in Norwood and Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The school is the sixth-oldest Catholic and fourth-oldest Jesuit university in the United States. As you asking I am telling The Xavier rifle team placed fourth in the nation this past weekend, just 14 points behind third place West Virginia and 15 behind second place Kentucky. Alaska-Fairbanks took first with a score of 6283. Sophomore Thrine Kane (Merrick, NY) led the way for the Musketeers posting a 1161 in the smallbore team competition and a 391 in the air rifle team contest. Both scores were team highs. Kane also placed eighth overall (1162) in the individual smallbore contest and tied for third (391) in the individual air rifle shootout.
