Indian Engineering Services include engineers who work under the administration of India and assigned as Class – 1 officer. ESE 2017 Eligibility

(I) Nationality:

A competitor must be either:

(an) A national of India or

(b) A subject of Nepal or A subject of Bhutan or

(c) A Tibetan evacuee who approached Indian before the first January, 1962 with the goal of for all time settling in India or

(d) A man of Indian root who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the goal of for all time settling in India.

Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) or

Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections An and B of the Aeronautical Society of India or

Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November 1959
