I want to pursue engineering degree from Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET), Amritsar (ASR). Will you tell what the eligibility criteria for doing Civil Engineering degree from this colleges also tell details about admission process so that I plan to join here?

B.Tech Course details:

Civil Engineering
4 Year Degree
Total Seats: 60

Eligibility Criteria

For admission to Engineering Courses, 85% seats shall be open to the candidates from within the State of Punjab and 15% will be open to candidates from outside the State.

Appearing in JEE conducted by CBSE, New Delhi is mandatory to claim seats on merit under 85% quota reserved for Punjab Residents through a centralized Counseling of Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala

Admission Process

Admission to B.Tech., both for 85% seats reserved for Punjab residents and 15 % seats for outside Punjab quota shall be made strictly on the basis of JEE rank and in case the seats do not get filled under respective categories, the eligibility may be considered on the basis of qualifying examination , i.e. 10+2.

For Engineering & Technology courses, all those candidates who have passed the 10+2 Examination (with at least 45% marks in aggregate) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the below mentioned subjects shall be eligible for admission:
