The details of the Workshop on - Smart city (Uploaded on 19-01-2018) – to be conducted by IITK (Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur) Faculty (Fellowships) are as follows:

Workshop on Smart city

Date: February 06 - 08, 2018
Venue: Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

Smart city is identified as one of the strategic and top priority area of focus in Europe and India.

The workshop will comprise of keynote presentation and discussions amongst leading Heritage partner members, subject experts from academia, research organizations, Government departments and industry. Faculties from France, Italie, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and Poland will participate in the workshop.

A round table discussion will be held to explore and identify the opportunities for joint research and development initiatives between the stakeholders.

Participants will explore aspect related to the Smart city development including:
- Strategies and policies,
- Water, electricity and sanitation management
- Mobility, connectivity
- Sustainable environment
- Safety and security, Health and education
