RMIT University offers a variety of learning and teaching approaches including lectures, seminars, workshops, presentations, group discussions and project work. The Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) program is a rigorous and stimulating accounting program designed to give the tools to make key business decisions and measure, analyse and communicate economic information. It is also offered in Singapore in partnership with the Singapore Institute of Management. Global mobility options available for the program include: • Study tours • Specialised accounting study programs to Europe and North America • First Year Study Tour • Student exchange • RMIT International Industry Experience and Research Program (RIIERP) • Global Entrepreneurship and Internship Program (GEIP) Structure The program is designed to suit students who already have significant working experience or are on a cadetship, or for those who want to extend studies in business and related disciplines by choosing from a range of second majors and minors. The program consists of 24 courses (each 12 credit points) and includes: • 8 compulsory common business core courses • 8 business discipline major courses • 8 flexible courses. The 8 flexible courses can be selected from three options: • A second business discipline major (8 courses) • A compulsory business discipline minor (4 courses) plus second minor (any discipline) • A compulsory business discipline minor (4 courses) plus 4 electives.
