The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) offers Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) of duration 3 years. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Bachelors degree course of the university is meant for B.A./B.Com. degree. Duration – 3 years Eligibility- 10+2 or equivalent or successful in B.P.P. examination. Course structure- Components For Selection Compulsory Courses Option-I Option-II Basic Courses 36 36 Optional Courses 64 56 Vocational Courses 8 16 Total 108 108 Selection Of Subjects Basic courses of 36 credits are compulsory for B.A. and B.Com. students. For the selection of the main subject one has to complete the optional courses of 48 credits. For the degree of B.Com. one has to successfully in complete the subjects of 48 credits. In the third year the students is expected to select the vocational subjects of 8 credits but only vocational subjects carrying 16 credits will be allowed to be selected.
