Yes the Kalasalingam University has affiliation by AICTE. The Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education is an institute deemed to be university located in Krishnankoil near Madurai in Tamil Nadu, India.

In November 2017, following a directive by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to drop the "University" from the name it was renamed Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education.
