Karnataka Folklore University is set up with a particular goal of giving in more noteworthy stage in Folklore Studies. Karnataka Folklore University, Gotagodi, Shiggaon is a state funded college solely committed to the review and research of old stories. It was set up in 2011 at Shiggaon region by the Government of Karnataka. Its first bad habit chancellor is Prof. Ambalike Hiriyanna. The college is asserted to be world's first college for fables and India's first old stories college. It was initiated on 16 June 2012 by the Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri B S Yediyurappa. The college is in Gotagodi, Shiggaon, Karnataka, India.[4] It offers degrees in MA, MSc in old stories, correspondence, antiquated science, MBA in country business and administration, MPhil and PhD.
