Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PG CET) is a state level entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examination authority (KEA) for admission in various PG courses. It offers admission into first year of MBA/MCA/ M. Tech/ M.E./M. Arch and second year or lateral entry to MCA programme. It is conducted once in a year. Karnataka PGCET 2018 Dates (Tentative) Availability of online application form 1st week of July 2018 Submission of application fee in specified bank 1st week of July 2018 Last date to submit application form 4th week of July 2018 Closing of submission of application fee 4th week of July 2018 Date of exam 1st week of July 2018 Result August 2018 Eligibility Criteria Qualification Criteria: • For MBA: One must hold the 3 years of bachelor degree passed with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates). • For MCA: One should have the UG degree in any stream with Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Programming, Business Mathematics and Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories. • For MCA Lateral Entry: One must possess the bachelor degree in BCA, B. Sc (IT/Computer Science) with mathematics at 10+2 or graduate level. One has to score the minimum 50% marks in qualifying exam (45% for SC/ST candidates). • For M.E./M. Tech/M. Arch (Full Time/Part Time): One should pass the qualifying exam in respective fields with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). |
