Vardhman Mahaveer Open University invites application form for admission in several UG, PG programs in the University.

VMOU Admissions take place in two sessions, January and July.

UG Admission -

Vardhman Mahaveer Open University offers a number of courses at the undergraduate level with various specializations leading to a Bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject.

The University offers B.Com. (preparatory programme and pass course), BJL (regular and lateral), B.Li.I.Sc, B.B.A., B.C.A., B.S.W., B.A. (preparatory) and B.Sc. courses at the UG level.

The course duration for the regular UG course is three years, whereas, the course duration for B.J.L., B.Li.I.Sc. and various other preparatory programmes is one year.

Admission to all these programmes are based on the merit of the candidates in their previous qualifying examination.

Candidates are not required to appear for any entrance test.

B.Ed Admission -

For admission to the B.Ed. programmes, candidates are required to sit for an Entrance test conducted by the university.

The marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam along with the marks obtained by them in their previous qualifying examination are taken into consideration while preparation of the final merit list for the B.Ed. course.

MBA Admission -

The University also offers the M.B.A. degree with three specialization streams - Human Resource Management, Financial Management and Marketing Management.

Any candidate who is having at least a graduate degree under any discipline are eligible to apply for the M.B.A. courses. All the Management courses are for a duration of two years.

Admission to the M.B.A. courses is subject to qualifying in the Management Entrance Test (MET) organised by VMOU or scores obtained in MAT / CAT / CMAT / any other recognised test during the last one year.

PG Admission -

The University offers various courses like M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, M.J., M.Li.I.Sc, M.C.A., M.Sc., MSW and PG Diploma at the postgraduate level.

The course duration for Master’s in Journalism (M.J.), Master’s in Library & Information Science (M.Li.I.Sc.) and the PG Diploma courses is one year. All the other PG level courses are offered for a duration of two years.

The M.A. course is offered with 14 different specialization subjects, the M.Sc. course is offered with six different specialization subjects and the PG Diploma course is offered with seven different specializations

Admission to all the PG courses are based on the merit of the candidates in the previous qualifying examinations.

No entrance test is conducted for admission to these courses.
