About the Collaboration

Punjab University and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance collaboration between the both organizations.

As a result of the MoU, ACCA will assist the university in modernizing its accounting and finance curriculum. On the basis of improvements in the curriculum ACCA will also offer exemptions to the various relevant programmes of the university.

Beneficial of the Merger

PU and ACCA will work closely to gain benefit from ACCA’s research & Insights, scholarships offerings, career advisory services, faculty development initiatives and networking forums

. Dr Mujahid Kamran said that the MoU will be beneficial for faculty members and students who would get benefit from the experiences of ACCA.

Mr Turner said that ACCA would be working with University of the Punjab to further enhance the accountancy and finance curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of a globalised and challenging marketplace.
