The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (TNMGRMU) was established by 1987. Its mission is to achieve and maintain uniformly high standards of needs-responsive medical education in the State of Tamilnadu

As per my knowledge, Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (TNMGRMU) is not approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated by UGC.
