About the Department of Biotechnology :

The Department of Biotechnology has excellent infrastructure facility for research on Stem cell biology, Microbial Biotechnology and Plant Science. Progressive research is being carried out in the department with the aid of Rs 4 crores obtained from various funding agencies. To its credit, the department has a multitude of research papers published in high impact journals and filed seven patents. The department has been supported by UGC Non-SAP.
