The Applied Statistics Unit of Indian Statistical Institute ISI Kolkata conducts Statistical Traineeship Programme every year.

Statistical Traineeship Programme

It is a full-time course comprising directed reading, practical assignments and occasional lectures/demonstrations.

The objective of this programme is to provide emerging statisticians with an opportunity to learn practical issues related to computer-based data analysis.

Duration-

The duration of the programme is one academic year.

Eligibility-

Fresh master's degree holders in statistics are eligible for admission to the programme.

Selection Process-

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of these applications are called for an interview.

The final selection is made on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the interview as well as their academic records.
