University of Mysore was established in year 1916. The University has 42 Postgraduate Departments at the Main Campus, Manasagangotri, 2 Postgraduate Centers, viz., Tubinakere, Mandya, Hemagangotri, Hassan with 5 Postgraduate Departments each and one Satellite Centre at Chamarajanagar with 3 Postgraduate Departments.

University of Mysore offers various UG, PG courses for eligible and interested candidates applying.

The University will select students through a written test.
