One of the most sought after B-schools in the country, IIM Ahmedabad offers Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Management (PGP). Eligibility for PGP • One must hold bachelor degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) category, this is relaxed to 45%. One may possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. • One appearing for the final year bachelor degree / equivalent qualification exam and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply. One needs to have obtained minimum 50% marks or equivalent (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/DA category) based on latest available grades/marks. Admission Procedure There are 2 stages that a candidate goes through before getting selected for IIM-Ahmedabad PGP Programme. 1. The first stage is appearing for the CAT Exam conducted by the IIMs. 2. On clearing the required cut offs and the composite score, a candidate is called for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). From 2015 onwards, WAT has been replaced by Academic Writing Test (AWT). 2015-17 PGP Batch IIM-A called candidates for WAT-PI on the basis of the candidate's Composite Score. The composite score has an element of the CAT percentile as well as previous academic performance (AR Rating). IIM-A revised the CAT cutoffs for all the categories except General for the batch 2015-17.
