The Kerala Public Service Commission is provides some important rules for reservation. For reservation in KCET where the special rules lay down that the principle of reservation of appointments shall apply to any service, class or category; or where in the case of any service, class or category for which no special rules have been issued.

The Government have by notification in the Gazette declared that the principle of reservation of appointments shall apply to such service, class or category, appointments by direct recruitment to such service, class or category.

The Kerala Public Service Commission is a body created by the Constitution of India.

Rules and regulation for reservation of Kerala Public Service Commission:




Regulations may be called the Kerala Public Service Commission (Composition and Conditions of Service of Members and Staff) Regulations, 1957.

In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires: -
“Constitution” means the Constitution of India.
“Commission” means the Kerala Public Service Commission.
“Member” means a member of the Commission and includes the Chairman thereof.
