GROUPCARE is the MDU group scheme for GP practices

GROUPCARE Standard

When up to 50% of your practice GPs are MDU members.

GROUPCARE is open to all practices with at least two eligible GPs (one must be a GP principal), excluding GP locums, GPSTs and trust indemnified GPs.

FREE membership*

Free membership for practice managers and up to two practice staff for every GP member. Applicable for practice nurses carrying out standard duties, healthcare assistants and phlebotomists.

They can offer discounted membership for nurse practitioners and nurses working in an extended role.

FREE 24-hour employment law advice line

The employment law advice line is provided by Peninsula Business Services, the leading provider of employment law and health and safety services in the UK.

GROUPCARE members receive free access to Peninsula's 24/7 employment law helpdesk via telephone or email.

You can receive:

immediate advice from dedicated consultants with in-depth experience in employment legislation, contractual requirements and case law precedents.

assistance in drafting any follow-up letters.

telephone coaching when managing difficult or complex employee relations.
