Vellore Institute of Technology conducts Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) exam in online and offline mode. The entrance exam will be held for admissions to 20 B. Tech programmes offered at the VIT campuses located in Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati and Bhopal.

The details about the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2017 Online Counselling Status for Phase 1 and Phase 2 are as follows:

VITEEE Counselling - Document Verification
One will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process without these documents.
• Print out of VITEEE Admit Card
• VITEEE Counselling card
• Copy of VITEEE Result
• Class 10 Board Certificate (as a proof of date of birth or any other age proof Certificate)
• Mark sheet of Qualifying Examination (if available)
• Class 12 hall ticket (for candidates awaiting results)
• Community Certificate (for SC/ST only)
• Nativity Certificate (for candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.)
• Demand Draft for Rs 50,000 drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore.
• Undertaking form

Apart from the above documents, candidates will also have to submit the following documents at the time of admission:

• Affidavit by Parent
• Hostel Affidavit - Male candidates
