Career Scope :

The initial In hand salary in SI/AI posts under CPO is given above Chart. There are regular promotions you will get after your joining over the time. Promotions mainly depends on the career record of the person; how his work and conduct remain during the service.

Work Profile

When you get selected through SSC CPO exam, you will be appointed as a Sub Inspector with either the Delhi Police, the CAPF or as Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF.
The CAPF is a Para military force also known as the Central Armed Police Forces.
It is not directly a wing of the Military.
It comes under the Home Ministry.
The CAPF has under it the following:

CISF (Central Industrial Security Force)

Pay Scale :
