Hello sir, I’m looking for temporary connection for my new house from Karnataka Electric board. Will you please provide me which documents are required for Karnataka Electric board temporary connection?

The Karnataka Electric board will give temporary power connection to the people who is constructing new house.

New service connection application shall be made in prescribed Service Connection Application Form; the same application form can be used for obtaining permanent / temporary service connection.

The KSEB is Provide initial cost of the temporary connection – discuss about refund.

There are different kilowatt limits. Based on wattage owner will get bill.
If it is 1KW then at present bill amount is Rs 672 rupees for below 100 units of power consumption.
For every 28 days owner has to pay electric bill without fail. Otherwise penalty will be more.
KEB will take ~2500 as an initial deposit which is refundable.

Proof of Identity (Photo Identity Card)
Proof of Ownership
Sketch showing details of connected equipments, marked in building plan.
Letter of authorization, if applicable
Consent from owner, if applicable
Test Certificate of metering equipment, if consumer supplies the same.
Certificate for claiming exemption from payment of cost for providing service connection, if applicable.
Consents / Authorisations / Approvals wherever applicable.
Service Connection Agreement, if applicable.
