School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) Pune welcomes application for admission to B. Plan, FAD, BFD and PG Diploma Courses for the scholastic year 2017-18.

SOFT CET 2017

Built up in 1998, School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) conducts CET to offer admission to applicants in Undergraduate Programs on offer by the Design College. Delicate additionally offers Diploma and PG Diploma Design Programs to applicants

a) Affiliated to S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai

(i) Bachelor of Design (B.Design) - 4 years
(ii) Fashion Design
(iii) Fashion Communication
(iv) Textile Design

b) In Technical Support with National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

UG Diploma in Fashion Apparel Design (FAD) + B.Sc. (FD) Dual Certification Programme of Diploma in Technical support with NIFT + Degree of B.Sc. (FD) from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) at a time

(a) PG Diploma in Apparel Production & Merchandising Management (APMM) - 2 Years
(b) PG Diploma in Fashion Design & Clothing Technology (FDCT) - 2 Years

Qualification Criteria

For U.G. Program - B. Design (Affiliated to SNDT Women's University):

XIIth Pass in any Stream - Arts/Commerce/Science/Home Science/Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC) including National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)

Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE)/State Govt. Specialized Education full time certificate of least 2 years after Std. X

For NRI and Foreign understudies with equality declaration from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi

For U.G. Program - B. Design (Direct second year Admission):

Three year Diploma perceived by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

Five year Diploma in Fine Arts perceived by the State Technical Board

Effective consummation of first year Degree from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

For U.G. Confirmation Program - F.A.D. + B.Sc. (FD) (In Technical Support with NIFT):

XIIth Pass in any Stream - Arts/Commerce/Science/Home Science including National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)

For PG Diploma Programs: Graduate in any stream (10+2+3 or equal)

For PG Diploma Program (1-year): Graduation in Fashion - 3 years instruction in the field of mold after twelfth

Exam Pattern

The Entrance Exam will comprise of Online Test + Studio Test/Group Discussions + Personal Interview. It is required for every one of the contender to give each of the three tests. The Online Test will contain taking after areas:

i. Quantitative Aptitude (15 questions and 15 marks)

ii. Verbal/Non-verbal thinking (15 questions and 15 marks)

iii. Scientific Ability (15 questions and 15 marks)

iv. Imaginative Ability (15 questions and 15 marks)

Add up to - 60 Questions and 60 Marks

The hopefuls are coordinated to endeavor all inquiries since there is No Negative Marking

Online Test: 60 marks

Studio Test/Group Discussions - 140 imprints

Individual Interview - 50 marks

Total - 250 imprints
