Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences Undergraduate Medical Exam (MGIMS Wardha Medical) has been replaced by NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2017. NEET 2017 Admit Card The NEET Admit Card 2017 has been provided via online mode through the official website of NEET. The admit card is available to download from 22nd April 2017. The admit card will not be sent by post. The admit card contains exam and candidates related details like exam date, exam centre, name and roll number of the candidate. MGIMS MBBS Admission 2017 Eligibility One will be eligible for admission to First year M.B.B.S. course of MGIMS on fulfilment of following conditions: • One must have qualified in the NEET 2017. • One must be an Indian National. • One must attain 17 years of age on or before 31st December, 2017. The S.S.C. or equivalent exam certificate clearly endorsing the date of birth will only constitute valid proof of the date of birth of the candidate. • One should be medically fit to undergo the professional course. One will have to undergo a medical exam at Kasturba Hospital of MGIMS during the time of admission. • One must have passed 12th standard exam under 10+2 system of Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Education Board or an equivalent exam of any recognized Indian Board/University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in first attempt. o General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and he/she should have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in first attempt. o Constitutional reservation: One belonging to Scheduled castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Vimukta Jati (V.J.), Nomadic Tribe (N.T.) and Other Backward Class (O.B.C) including Special Backward Class (SBC) should have obtained not less than 40% of total aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying Examination. He/she must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in first attempt o Physically Handicapped candidates: One must secure a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and he/she should have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in first attempt. |
