About the Course :

The LL.M. in Business Law is open to both students with a J.D. degree and to foreign lawyers. The LL.M. in Business is designed to provide advanced business law and finance training to lawyers in areas of growing demand, such as regulatory compliance, in-house counsel, transactional law, complex business litigation, and financial regulation due to changes in the legal landscape, the adoption of the Dodd-Frank Act and cybersecurity.

Degree Requirement
Students who enroll in the LL.M. in Business Law must attend a non-credit, one-week orientation prior to the beginning the fall semester, and then successfully complete 24 units of credit in residence at the Florida State University College of Law.

Average LSAT Score : Candidate may Score in Between 120 to 180 Scre Scale

Application fee of $30
U.S. currency payable online through LSAC, or by check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank. The check or money order must be made payable to Florida State University. Foreign money orders are not accepted. The applicant's complete name and date of birth should be clearly indicated on all methods of payment.
Personal Statement: In 500 words or fewer, describe your interest in the LL.M in Business Law and any particular specializations that you are interested in pursuing.

Resume: A complete and updated resume is required and must be submitted as an attachment with the online application through LSAC.

Letters of Recommendation: At least one and no more than two letters of recommendation.
