Can you provide me the Exam Pattern 2017 for All India Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Entrance Examination (AIIMS MBBS)?

This year, All India Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Entrance Examination (AIIMS MBBS) 2017 will be conducted on May 28, 2017, for offering admissions to as many as 707 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS institutions across India.

AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern 2017

Exam mode:
AIIMS MBBS 2017 exam will be conducted in a computer based mode.
Candidates will have to mark their answers in computers only.
No sheet will be provided for rough work.

Exam date:
AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be conducted on May 28, 2017.

Exam session:
AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be conducted in two sessions, morning and afternoon.

Morning session: 09:00 am to 12:00 noon
Afternoon session: 03:00 pm to 06:30 pm

Language of question paper:
The computer based test will be conducted in English or Hindi.
During the application form procedure, candidates have to choose one language in which they are comfortable to appear in AIIMS MBBS 2017.

Number of questions:
The question booklet of AIIMS MBBS 2017 will consist of 200 questions. Physics, Chemistry and Biology section will have 60 questions each, while General Knowledge and Aptitude and Logical Thinking section will consist of 10 questions each.

Types of questions:
AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be multiple choice and reason-assertion based. Each question will consist of 4 multiple choice questions and candidates will have to choose a most appropriate answer out of them.

Marking Scheme:
For each correct response, candidates will get 1 mark, while for each incorrect response -1/3 marks will be deducted.
No marks will be allotted for any unmarked response.

Qualifying marks in AIIMS MBBS 2017:

To qualify AIIMS MBBS 2017, one belonging to General category has to secure a minimum of 50 percentile in the entrance exam.
However, it is 40 percentile for SC/ST candidates.
One, belonging to OBC category has to obtain at least 45 percentile in AIIMS MBBS 2017.
