Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) is the chief State Open University in India. Set up by W.B. Act (XIX) of 1997 and Recognized by U.G.C. what's more, DEC.

At present, The University is proceeding with its work with 120 Study Centers. In not so distant future more Study Centers will be opened with pushed on "meeting the neglected" especially the impeded area of the country group and minority with utilization of IT.
