Here are some rules

For the purpose of this document, Placement Committee is defined as the collective body comprising of the Placement Officer and the Student Placement Representatives elected for the said year. The Indian Institute of Science is referred to as the Institute.

All students who expect to graduate from the Institute by the end of the academic year and are seeking employment may register for campus placements.

Registrations for placements of students of B.S., M.Tech., M.E., M.Des, and M.Mgt programmes will be done during the month of August on the online portal maintained by the Placement Committee.

The M.Sc and Ph.D. research scholars can register during the month of August by submitting a certificate in the prescribed format available with the Placement Committee, indicating that they will submit their thesis.

Students having 4 or more course backlogs are advised not to register for placements. Such students are advised to improve and register after the fall semester examinations.
