State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for the recruitment of 8301 Jr. Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in Clerical Cadre for all the States and UTs including 7200 Regular Jr Associate Posts and 1101 Backlog Jr. Associate Vacancies. Name of the Posts: Clerks - Jr. Associates (Sales & Support) Total No. of Posts: 8301 Vacancies Regular Vacancies: 7200 Posts Backlog Vacancies: 1101 Posts Karnataka- 100 Jr. Associate Vacancies in Clerical Cadre in SBI Eligibility Criteria Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Age Limit (As on 01st January 2018) Not below 20 years and not above 28 years Relaxation of Upper Age Limit: SC/ST - 5 years Other Backward Classes (OBC) - 3 years PWD (Gen) - 10 years PWD (SC/ST) - 15 years PWD (OBC) - 13 years 6.Persons domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01st Jan.1980 to31st Dec. 1989 - 5 years Important Dates Commencement of online registration of application: 20th January 2018 Closure of Registration of Application:10th February 2018 Closure for editing Application Details: 10th February 2018 Last Date for Printing your Application: 25th February 2018 Online Fee Payment: 20th Jan to 10th February 2018 Preliminary Exam: March/April - 2018 Main Exam: 12th May 2018 Selection Procedure The selection process will consist of online test(preliminary & main examination) and test of specified opted local language SBI Jr. Associates Exam Pattern Phase-I Preliminary Exam: Preliminary Examination (Online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of one-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows: English Language 30 No. of Questions; 30 Marks and 20 Minutes Numerical Ability 35 No. of Questions; 35 Marks and 20 Minutes Reasoning Ability 35 No. of Questions; 35 Marks and 20 Minutes Total 100 No. of Questions; 100 Marks Duration: 1 Hour Phase-II Main Exam: The Structure of Main examination (online objective type) would be as follows: General / Financial Awareness: 50 Questions & 50 Marks General English: 40 Questions & 40 Marks iii. Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions & 50 Marks Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 50 Questions & 60 Marks Total: 190 Questions & 200 Marks Duration: 2 Hours & 40 minutes The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e. English & Hindi. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. |
