As you want I am giving below NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) exam syllabus : NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) syllabus Mathematics Algebra Complex Numbers Logarithms Binomial Theorem (Positive Integral Index) Quadratic equations Trigonometry Matrices Coordinate Geometry of three dimensions Coordinate Geometry of two dimensions Integral Calculus Differential Calculus Application of Calculus Differential Equations Sets, Relations, and Mapping Vectors Statistics and Probability Permutation and Combination General Aptitude Objects, texture related to architecture and built environment. Visualizing different sides of 3D objects. Interpretation of pictorial compositions, visualizing three-dimensional objects from the two-dimensional drawing. Analytical reasoning, mental ability (visual, numerical and verbal) awareness of national/ international architects and their creations. Drawing Understanding scale and proportion of objects, building forms, and elements, shape, geometric composition, aesthetics, harmony and contrast, color texture. Drawing of patterns – both geometrical and abstract Conceptualization and visualization Generating plan, 3D views of objects, elevation. Form transformations in 2D and 3D like union, rotation, subtraction, surfaces and volumes. Creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shape and forms. Perspective drawing, sketching of urbanscape and landscape. NATA Exam Pattern The National Aptitude Test in Architecture will be held through offline mode. The duration of the exam will be three hours. Total 60 questions will be asked in the examination. The question of Mathematics & General Aptitude will be multiple choice questions. Total 60 questions will be asked in the examination. The question paper will be of 200 marks. For each correct answer, two marks will be awarded in Mathematics & General Aptitude test. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answer. The question paper will comprise of three sections, i.e. Mathematics, Drawing & General Aptitude. |
