As per me Earlier, the looking for Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) used to conduct SLET till 1999. Later the job of conducting SLET was forwarded to Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) but the APPSC never conducted it for various administrative reasons.

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has published recruitment notification for following position recently :

Vacancy Details:

1. Civil Assistant Surgeon in Gynecology: 36 Posts
2. Civil Assistant Surgeon in Anesthesia: 24 Posts
3. Civil Assistant Surgeon in Pediatrics: 24 Posts
4. Civil Assistant Surgeon in General Medicine: 19 Posts
5. Civil Assistant Surgeon in General Surgery: 08 Posts
6. Civil Assistant Surgeon in Orthopedics: 03 Posts
7. Civil Assistant Surgeon in ENT: 07 Posts
8. Civil Assistant Surgeon in Pathology: 08 Posts

Eligibility:
Applicants should possess Post Graduation Medical Course in Degree/ Diploma in Gynaecology MS (OBG), or DNB (OBG)/ DGO for S.No-1, Post Graduation Medical Course in Degree/ Diploma in Anaesthesia MD (Anae), or DNB (Anae)/ DA for S.No-2, Post Graduation Medical Course in Degree/ Diploma in Paediatrics MD (Paed), or DNB (Paed)/ DCH for S.No-3, Post Graduation Medical Course in Degree/ Diploma in General Medicine MD (GM), or DNB (GM) for S.No-4, Post Graduation Medical Course in Degree/ Diploma in General Surgery MS (GS), or DNB (GS) for S.No-5, Post Graduation Medical Course in Degree/ Diploman in Orthopaedics MS (Ortho), or DNB (Ortho)/ D. Ortho for S.No-6, Post Graduation Medical Course in Degree/ Diploma in ENT MS (ENT), or DNB (ENT)/ DLO for S.No-7, Post Graduation Medical Course in Degree/ Diploma in Pathology MD (Path), or DNB (Path)/ DCP for S.No-8 Posts.

Age Limit:
Applicants age limit should be between 18 – 42 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.


Selection Process:
Applicants will be selected based on screening test/ main examination, computer based test, mock test, verification/ interview.

Application & Processing Fee:
Applicants required to pay Rs. 250/- towards application processing fee and Rs 120/- towards Examination Fee thruogh online using Payment Gateway using Net Banking/ Credit card / Debit Card.The list of Banks providing service for the purpose of online remittance of Fee will be available on the Website. Rs.120/- for SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Service Men, Un-employed youth in the age group of 18 to 42 years & Others are requiredt pay examination fee only. For detailed fee payment refer the Notification.

Applicants can apply online through the website from 04-10-2017 to 03-11-2017 up to 11:59 mid night.
