BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) is a state level joint entrance exam for admissions to various UG level in Engineering/Technology, Agricultural and Medical streams in govt. and self-financed institutions in Bihar as well as other states. Number of Attempts for BCECE As there is no age limit for the exam so there is nothing mentioned about the number of attempts for BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination). Eligibility Criteria for BCECE: • Nationality - One must be citizen of India. • Qualifying Examination (QE) - One who has passed or will be appearing in 10+2 board or equivalent examination is eligible • Subjects in QE: One must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects as optional. • Marks Required: General category students should have scored 45% marks and SC/ST/OBC candidates should have secured 40%. • Age Limit: There is no age limit. BCECE Reservation Criteria The Reservation of seats for admission through BCECE is done as per the norms of Govt. of Bihar. 1. Citizens of Bihar who have been declared under reserved category and possess a caste certificate from the competent authority of Govt. of Bihar enjoy the benefits of reservation of seats. Such candidates will be allotted the seats reserved for their respective categories in different colleges according to their category merit list. 2. Non-residents of Bihar are not eligible to claim seats under reserved categories in colleges situated in Bihar, as per the norms of Govt. of Bihar. 3. The reserved categories for BCECE will be decided on the basis of list of SC/ST/EBC/BC prepared and approved by Govt. of Bihar. 4. The reservation of seats in BCECE for various reserved categories is indicated in the table mentioned below. The rest 50% of the seats should be considered available for General Category candidates.
