“Indian Engineering Services include technical and managerial services for government of India. The pay scale of Indian Engineering Services is as high as the pay scale of IAS officers. After 7th pay commission, an IES officer receives more benefits along with high salary and allowance

Basic Salary

Basic salary : Rs.15600 – 39100/-

Grade pay : 5400

Net basic salary becomes : 21000

dearness allowance : 113 % of 21000 : 23730

HRA : 30 % of ( 21000+23730) : 13419

Transport allowance : 6600 ( for type 1 cities like Delhi Mumbai …)

Gross salary : 21000+23730+13419+6600 : 64749

Minimum Basic for newly recruited IES officer: ₹ 56,100.00
