Sorry to say you but, you are not allowed to bring your own calculator for the exam. A calculator will be provided for use during the Integrated Reasoning section only. The Graduate Management Admission Test is a computer adaptive test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. Calculators are not permitted during the Quantitative section. You will be provided with note boards and markers to work out your calculations on the Quantitative section. In addition, no personal items are allowed in the exam room. You will be provided with a locker for your personal belongings. The GMAT is four sections long, with an Analytical Writing Assessment, an Integrated Reasoning Section, and sections for Quantitative and Verbal. The test lasts 3 hours and 30 minutes, or closer to 4 hours if you take your two optional 8-minute breaks. Test Pattern: GMAT test consists of four sections as follows – Section Duration in minutes Number of questions Analytical writing assessment 30 1 essay Integrated reasoning 30 12 Quantitative Aptitude 75 37 Verbal 75 41 Academic Qualification: Candidates must have graduate degree from a recognized institute. All participating institutes will have different academic qualifications. Age Limit: A candidates applying for GMAT Exam must be 18 years old. In case, Candidate’s age varies between 13-17 years then he/she will have to provide a written proof of the guardian’s consent in taking the GMAT Test. Number of Attempts: Candidates can appear for GMAT Exam only 5 times in a year. |
