we have received OTS offer from SBI on 9.1.17 against recent policy. They have advised to deposit 5% of dues as on 31.3.16 within 15 days.
since the time to deposit is merely 15 days so we could not deposit initial amount. Hence we request you to clarify how long we can stretch to deposit initial 5% to process our OTS application against recent policy.

Hi, This is Shuaib here, we have received a letter on 24th January 2017 for OTS (Compromise settlement) & mentioned to reply within 15 days from the date of letter the acceptance of OTS and the last date to remitt was not mentioned in the letter and the letter was dated 13th january 2017, since they have posted the letter on 23rd january 2017 & we have received this letter on 24th January 2017, but the AGM forced us to remitt on 31st january 2017 and he was threating us that you will miss the chance if you do not deposit 5% of the application money. Though with great difficulty we begged and borrowed the money and deposited the same on 31st january 2017, now he is again demanding us to pay the 20% of the OTS amount and the rest within 31st March 2017 and he is not clearly talking to us neither he is acknowledging the receipt of the 5% we remitted towards principal amount/OTS. and he has not sent us the OTS Sanction letter to proceed further as per the letter dated 13th january 2017, and he is not talking about returning the Secured properties papers when we will get back. please advise us on this as we are in a catch 22 situation.
