I want to apply for Registered Dietitian Exam so can you please tell me the eligibility criteria required to apply for exam?

Registered Dietitian Exam RD Exam is taken every year by Indian Dietetic Association to award registration to applicants who successfully qualify in it.

Passing of RD Exam is mandatory for those candidates who want to become Registered Dietician in India.

RD Exam eligibility-

B.Sc. Home Science in Foods & Nutrition (Day Scholar)

Or Graduation with science stream having minimum 3-4 subjects as 1) basic nutrition
2) Biochemistry 3) Physiology .

+Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics OR M.Sc.in Foods & Nutrition/Clinical Nutrition/ Dietetics.

(Regular course from recognized universities/ institutions only)

+Six months continuous internship from recognized hospitals OR FIVE year experience in a multispecialty hospital as full-time dietician from IDA recognized Hospitals.
