Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed UG Degree Examination of the UGC recognized Universities in any of the subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary/ Higher Secondary Education level are eligible for admission

Candidate should have passed the 10+2 qualifying examination conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized board of Education / Examination

Candidates should have scored the following minimum aggregate of marks in order to be eligible for admission to B.Ed. programme:

BC/ BCM 45%
MBC/ DNC 43%
SC/ SCA/ ST 40%

If the candidate possesses UG as well as PG degree in the same subject, the marks obtained in the UG Degree alone shall be considered for eligibility criteria.

Admission Process-

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying UG/PG Degree examination.

Candidates will be intimated for counselling on the basis of their rank.

Allotment of college and course available at the time of counselling will be done based on the rank and communal reservations.

Application fees-

Candidates should submit duly filled-in applications along with the application fee of Rs. 300/- in person or through post.

In case of SC/ST candidates, the fee to be submitted will be Rs. 175/- and the applicant must also produce the attested copy of Community certificate.

The application fee should be paid either in cash or through demand draft (DD) drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu B.Ed. Admission” and payable at Chennai.
