1. Gold Rush

A treasure hunt with a tinge of augmented reality in it, will put your analytical skills to test. Take out your smartphones and scan the real world for clues. Solve them in minimal time and Voila! You are the winner.

2. Interstellar: Code within Space

A Competitive / Sports programming contest with a single round (online/onsite).

3. The Final Problem

Find your way out of the locked hall with nothing but your will and wits to take you through. The contestants must work hard to crack multiple puzzles, negotiating and speculating answers until they solve the ‘Final Problem.’

4. Boolean Chronicles

Round 1 (written round): A situation is given with multiple options to solve it. The contestants must work out the solution for the problem through the use of logic circuits. Each solution selected has its own secondary obstacles to be handled. Top teams will qualify for the final round.

Final round: In this phase the contestants must implement their logical circuits on a 8086 microprocessor trainer kit with the ICs provided.

THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

1. She coder

Each contestant has to go through an orientation and three competitive rounds:
1 AlgoHack
2 Debugging
3 Paper Presentation

DAY1 (6th Oct)

A) Orientation: How tech-women could enthrall in the society bouncing all odds? Etiquettes and possibilities of women-in-computing will be addressed in this session. Eminent speakers from Google WTM (Women Tech Makers) will take over the session to motivate and guide the techie in you. Stay focused.

B) AlgoHack: As the name hints, the main aim is to figure out algorithm for a given program in terminal through various input-output combinations. Once figured, you have to implement the same using C, C++ or Java. Event will be of 60minutes duration.

DAY 2 (7th Oct)

C) Debugging: Three snippets of printed code in C will be given to each contestant. You have to make it bug-free and write down the stable bug-free codes in a paper along with expected output. Event will be of 60minutes duration.

D) Paper Presentation: Each contestant has to present a paper on any given topic.

2. Code Faceoff

Two contestants will be given a problem statement and will be seated face to face. They should code the problem.

3. App Debugger

A team of two will be given an unoptimized android application source code with errors. The participants must debug the app to eliminate errors and optimize the app.

4. Data Challenge

The participant will be provided with a problem statement, test set and train set. You have to create a machine learning model according to the data given to you. Your model will be tested against another test dataset.

5. Dooms Day

Earth is under attack, aliens are invading. You are assigned to diffuse a missile that might wipe out the entire human race. You should decrypt codes, solve puzzles and finish some tasks to eliminate the incoming threat.

Time: 9:30 am — 4:00 pm

6. Trail Blazer

Competitors need to get from point A to point B, across the vastness of the internet, using only the inline links embedded in websites to navigate. With no keyboard, you cannot access the URL bar or search engines, and the browser does not give modern luxuries like bookmarks or a back button. You are to surf the web manually, site by site, click by click.
Preliminary Rounds: Participant go through 5 rounds of traversing through sites one by one. 5 individuals with the lowest times go through to the final round.
Final round: Participants are given 3 tasks to be completed in similar fashion using only mouse clicks. The top three times get pole positions.

THE DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

1. Deshmode

Mechanical in concord with Solid works brings you Desmod. Desmod is the stage where creative geniuses in 3D modeling compete each other with their designs doing all the talking. If you are an individual who likes to design something creative, desmod is the apt place to showcase your talent.

2. The Dirt Racer

A smooth race never made a skillful racer and to take care of that we bring you the Dirt Arena. The bot must maneuver off road tracks with hard terrains, slopes, mud and sand. Let the fittest one survive. The objective is to complete the lap in minimum time.
The actual arena will be revealed at the venue. The track will be more than 20m long. The track consists of curves, slopes, slotted bridges, rollers, speed breakers and obstacles. There will be paths filled with sand, gravel, glass, water, concrete, etc.

3. Pit Stop

A pit stop is where a racing vehicle stops in the pits during a race for refueling, new tires, repairs, mechanical adjustments, a driver change, as a penalty, or any combination of the above. If you got mad with this we provide chance to prove! All you have to do is to fit a car tires as quick as possible.

4. Lathe Master

First will be a preliminary round where the knowledge of contestant about the lathe parts and its accessories will be tested.
The shortlisted contestants will go into the next round to perform the lathe operation.
