Yes the Acharya Nagarjuna University is approved by AICTE. In 2009 the approved by AICTE was got approval by AICTE.

AICTE is visited the campus and completed the inspection to award grants and other recognition purposes to assess if it meets the minimum criteria.

This is to communicate to all the concerned that, the Joint Inspection Committee consisting of members from DEC, UGC and AICTE visited Acharya Nagarjuna University on 6th and 7th August, 2009 and completed inspection of Centre for Distance Education and accorded Ex-Post-Facto approval and continuation of provisional recognition to all the courses offered by CDE, ANU till a final decision is made by the Joint Committee.
